I cant believe a 50/1.4 is a clue to somthing that will change photography for millions. I had a manual focus F mount 50/1.4 fifteen years ago! I just saw one priced at 200 bucks this week. What will be the next clue? A 35/1.7 in Leica screw mount, Uhm sorry guys its been done. I just discovered Rip Van Winkle is working in the design department for CZ.

Todays clue is just a non-clue and I wont even bother to import it over here. Ive seen some add campaines that didnt translate to English but this has proved so far to be the least thought out of them all and the most poorly activated advertisement skeme Ive ever observed. It started off fun enough but quickly turned bad with their offer of a Final Solution to their apparent lack of understanding on what is funny and what is just frustrating. This started off with so much hype but quickly ran out of fuel only to become inflamitory causing what could even be refered to as hatred and intolerance among some members here on the forum.

Im still excited about the Sinar M but it is way over my current GAS FUND budget. No offense to our German members but Ive about lost my appitite for overhyped overpriced new German gear made in Japan with made in Germany prices. If they can come out with somthing great maybe I will take a second look but all theve done so far is make me interested in digital cameras which in no way translates into sales for CZ and to remember just how much I miss my Nikon SLR with a 50/1.4 mounted on it.

That being said in Asia they dont have the same views on using such language so dont take it so offensively and let it go. If you get around Bangkok much you will see Thai guys with Bin Laden T-shirts driving mopeds with nazi helmets and nazi stickers all over the damm bike with a American Flag on the back of a biker vest, Its just not the same. God forbid you ever call someone a Buffloe here and put your fingers to your nose like a nose ring, You would be hacked to death with a machete instantly. We could all be a little more tolerant on translations here as this is truely a international forum.

If I go to Thailand this year I'll go with a friend whose brother is a general in the Thai military. He also has a friend (Art) in the musical group Vacation. Is the song คืนใจ still popular in Thailand?

It is not tolerable but I shall let it go? Now what ? Is it tolerable or not ?
Do you really suggest we'd better let somebody go because HE does not know how violating his offenses are for us ? That is a strange POV, to say the least !! 😡

Maybe some keep it as an acceptable attitude to speak about things they don't know nothing about, but they shall be warned : When it comes to derisive remarks or offenses of ethnic groups or races or nations my tolerance is zero !

And you , the guy with the big letters, you better learn to speak my language propperly. Or leave it alone !

If translating "Endgültig" to "final" and "Auflösung" to "solution" is offensive then calling somebody a "Zeiss Nazi" is offensive too.
