What's the sharpest 50mm lens?

Kiev cameras also were about twice the cost of Zorki or Fed, so the lenses tended to have better finish at least.
 
Thanks jdos2 to "como uma faca", Portuguese is my mother language.

The J-8 is in original conception a Contax lens, a Sonnar made in URSS with german plans and machines. I think it would be better in original conception: a Kiev with classic Contax mount or a true Contax. I have a Kiev IV, and I'm very happy with J-8.

Yes, it would be an enormous amount to fun to get one of those. However, I think I'll try to get a Helios-94 to go with my Jupiter 8NB instead - a wee bit easier to find than a prototype... :D

I forgot about that! Saw it on Cameraquest a while ago. Looks like someone went on vacation, brought back a Canon .95, and sadly, the rest is now history. THAT would be an interesting lens!
