I think she got turned off by the person who shall not be named, but was kicked out a month or so ago.

But it is so easy to please everyone here, I removed all links to my homepage because someone doesn't like me and I removed my gallery because anotherone disliked my pictures. I post less and shouldn't post this because yet a third one didn't like my posts and now everybody is very happy and worldpeace will be next :)

Joe, thanks :)

You know the first and the others are from a time far away and burried deep when we wanted to invade england for some navel-gazing.

Stephanie strikes me as the proverbial free spirit (as I was once, at least more than I can manage to be now...I sometimes think I'm the guy Karen Peris of The Innocence Mission sings scornfully of in You Chase The Light). She's likely between cooking things up literally and – with that new (to her) Nikon, figuratively

Here's a happy possibility. Among Stephanie's last posts were ones about getting her new darkroom working. So maybe she's so busy getting a safelight tan she hasn't got time to yack about it?
How bad would that be?

Let's be careful about how we talk about other members. ;)

Absolutely agree, but I think the writer was only expressing a gut feeling that quite a few others have had, I'm sorry to say. But let's hope he's proved wrong!

Yeah i hate you, please stop posting:p

I'd guess from Stephanie's blog that she's still lost in the final fantasy world or out playing with the Nikon FE.
I can understand the lure of both.
I remember spending many hours mastering Arkanoid and Wizardry. And I have a Nikon FE ... but <heresy>I'm planning to go out to play with the newly-acquired F4s.</heresy>

Ach, mein freund, I know the feeling. You shouldn't let those poopers get to you. I know many that take the proverbial passive-agressive approach and go to great lengths not to address me directly. Their problem. I have my own. :)

Not sure about invading England.....we're quite good at preventing that as I believe the last 940 years has shown :D

However Volker, don't stop showing your pictures, no matter what comments others make! In life, the voices of negative people are always louder than those of positive people, which is why we often have to listen harder and ignore those that shout the loudest!

If people think my photos are rubbish, that's up to them. If they like them, well great! I don;t know about you, but no-one is a harsher critic of my work than myself!:bang:

Keep shooting and sharing!

I've missed you too, Socke. Other than one altercation I was more-or-less witness to a while back, I was unaware there'd been others – sorry to hear it. Good to see you're still about.

Hastings was quite the battle, but not sure it was an invasion. In any case, yes, it's been pretty resilient since.

True , more of a violent supression and an effective scorched earth / genocide in what is now Yorkshire and Derbyshire. :(

Did anyone bother to send her a PM? I tried and her box is full.
I have a feeling she'll show up soon;)

Kiu
