Got it thanks. Very helpful. Now I know why my CL could be troublesome at times. Might not have been my issue.

If most of your work in film go Nikon S2 it rocks with a 50. It's a 1:1 finder so you can keep both eyes open al l the time. The fill frame works great with a 28. Stephen still has a few 28 CV lenses in S mount I think. No parallax correction but I found when I want to shoot that close I switch to a Nikon F.

Had the R3A. Looks great on paper and I was dazzled by the 1:1 finder initially but , for some reason, I just couldn't fall for it. I s'pose loves a bit like that, not rational but you just know when it's there.

M6 all the way. You can find them for under $1,000... It wont be pristine but you wont be scared to use it either.

If I could track down a sub-1k M6 I'd be a very happy camper indeed!
