Well, if that was the case, then every camera would just look exactly the same. There is nothing wrong with taking photos and admiring a camera.

I think the point is that they do not... not if they did. There is a reason that they all look different and it isn't all about ergonomics. Based on your signature, I doubt that you don't fetishize certain cameras yourself.

They are kept to take photos with, and are rubbed bruised and worn because of this, but then I thought that that was what photography was, my mistake!!🙄

The M5 and biogon is coolest and best looking. It's the only camera leica ever designed that looks like is should be in the hands of a real man.
