Would it be possible to Convert M9 to M9M If yes will you?

I have a feeling that someone from Leica said it wasn't possible, or rather it would cost almost as much as a MM to do.
If it was possible for a reasonable price, say €2000, I probably would.
I could trade in my M9, and buy a MM, but that would cost me at least €3500 (based on UK prices), and I'm quite attached to my M9 - it's been all over the world with me, and never missed a beat.

You might be able to have the Bayer Filter replaced by a clear filter, much like an IR filter can be removed. However, the processing of a non-interpolated image is quite different and the M9 will not accept the MM firmware.

The MM is, in my experience, not a replacement for the M9, more like a companion.I have a feeling that someone from Leica said it wasn't possible, or rather it would cost almost as much as a MM to do.

I agree. The two cameras ended up being rather distinct despite all their similarities.

Not unless you are interested in shooting only B&W.The MM is, in my experience, not a replacement for the M9, more like a companion.
