X1 pro-new £270 ?

I have seen an x1 pro at £270.
The 50mm equivalent is £300 .
I wonder if this is a cost effective kit for high quality shooting ?
I have the M8 with 35mm f2.5 Color Scopar but it tends to switch off until I take out the battery - i am even prepared to sell it to afford a 35mm X lens !
The nom 50mm is all I need as I use a 35mm with the Sony A35/A290 which is OK but is hardly a quality kit !
I may just buy a Minolta MD adapter until I can find the extra for the correct lens .

That is a very good price for the body if in good condition and all working.

Why not use the 35/2.5 with LTM adaptor on the XPro 1- it is compact and should work well with the XPro1.

Thanks zuikologist - the body is new , so maybe I could use my fave Color Scopar .
it's just so tempting when I should not be buying more cameras !!

Adapted lenses are less convenient than Fujifilm lenses. But convenience may not be important for how you work.

The 35/2 XF lens will focus faster and hunt less than the 35/1.4. The 35/2 is smaller as well. The 35/1.4 has superior optics, but the differences (in my experience) are not limiting. I sold my 35/1.4 shortly after I started using the 35/2.

You might require a diopter, so plan ahead for that.

i found that the body was missing from the showcase , but asked if they had another .
They did-boxed , unused .

Goddess , what a learning curve I have ahead of me !!! Especially with the 35m Color Scopar or 35mm f1.8 Rokkor !

I don't have either adapter as I did not actually have permission to buy any more cameras post M8 with Color Scopar and Contax mounted J3.

It would be a Leica M adapter so I can fit a screw adapter or Amadeus Contax ring - which should be rather remarkable in situ !

Like the M8 , I am not bothered with lenses other than a nominal 50mm or 75mm , I have Minolta zooms for the Sonys and Olympus for much loved Panasonic L1 , which is reminiscent of the Pro1 in styling.

I may not get on with it , so I would offer it here first.
