Personally - 400ASA.
Plenty have used it at 800 and got good results. The Ilford technical pdf also says it's fine at 800.
My best results came at 320.

I set my meter to ISO 250. On occasion I accidentally underexpose a shot, and seeing the results reminds me again why I want to avoid higher ISO settings! ISO 800 just doesn't sound workable to me, unless you're just metering the shadows.
I've also tried push-processing, and this seems to only slightly boost shadow density, while really going heavy on the highlight density. I'll do this for low-contrast subjects & lighting, and then set the meter to ISO 400.
