The water bladders are easier to reuse. Saves you the trouble of having to drink a lot of wine. I hang my 35mm and 120 film from the shower curtain rod with a heavy clip on the bottom. Clothes hanger over the rod & film clip between hanger and film. When dry, I leave the film hanging and I cut off the correct number of frames working from the bottom up. I use Print-Clear, or is it Clear-Print?, pages from Freestyle.

Nothing scientific. I can't find anything objectionable about the grain at 1:3. I prefer the longer times with 1:3. 10 minutes + or - and continuous agitation will get you close for most films.
