Yashica MG1 - No power ?

Hello everybody,
I own a Yashica MG1 that i bought almost a year ago for a few €uros. I have used 3 rolls with it, but unfortunately all the time shooting at the same speed (i think). Also, when pressing the shutter button down, none of the required lights on the top of the camera come on. I already came on this forum when i got the camera, and i arrived to the conclusion that it was the lights who didn't work. But i think the camera never worked, or maybe very badly, and the shutter never change its shutter speed.
So yesterday i decided to open the bottom and the top of the camera. If anyone of you can see anything wrong on my Flickr photos, could you please give me advice on how to fix it. Or if anyone has already had this kind of problem, and if there is anything i should look for, it would be great if you could please tell me.
I already check the battery and made sure that the contact is fine and it is.

Hi!

Nothing jumps out at me as being out of place. The main thing would be to check the wire attached to the top of the battery compartment. Sometimes they can look like they are attached but come loose with the slightest touch. The contacts you ask about are for the flash switch on the top of the camera. Pretty sure that the picture shows their normal state. They make contact when you move the switch to the flash position.

Hello, thanks for your answer !

- So for the contact on the top of the camera, i think when i move the button Auto/Flash, it doesn't make move the contacts under. Maybe only since i took off the top...

- Yesterday i went further in my "destruction", (new photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/batmat/3271646794/) and i check the wire attached to the top of the battery, (the white one on the Photo), i tested it and it seems fine. But, as the note says on my Flickr photo, i wonder where the red wire is going. One side is attached to the bottom of the battery, and the other is going into the lens, so can't really check it... I'm a bit scared of putting the lens apart but i guess that the only solution.

Any other help is very welcome 🙂
