I purchased a new CL with the 40 and 90 when they came out. The 40 is a really nice little lens. For street shooting it's a great system. Add a small 28 like the CV and you've got it all. I often wish I had my old one back.
I have a Summicron 50 and a CV Ultron. The Ultron is a great lens but doesn't focus close enough. I'll keep it for low light stuff though.Santafecino said:I thought fungus looked like little amoebas or icicles but maybe I've seen too many sci-fi movies. Check with someone who knows--it may just be dust.
On the merits--the CL, 40, 90 combo is very useful; I've had it for about 10 years. My 2 CLs were CLA'd by Leitz and have given no trouble since. Don't knock the 90; it works fine on any M. And do you have a 50? There are lots of cheap 50s (Jupiter-8, Industar 61LD), and the CL has that frame too.
If you need a 35, you can always get the CV 35 f:2.5 for not much money. That's what I did for my M5.
