It's just a ZI with 35mm Biogon... probably at f2ish and short focus to put all the lights out of focus.Wow! What was that taken with?

The first was taken with my R-D1 and Canon 35 2.8 lens, the second with my GRD II.

Machu Picchu, May '08, taken with a Canon 30D and 17-55/2.8 IS - although I have a nearly identical image taken with a Canon G9, my backup camera.
That is a superb image, one to print big and treasure for a long time.
This could be an excellent RFF book project, possibly through Blurb or the likes. Any thoughts? I've done some in the past which have turned out reasonably well.

Just a couple of favorite images of my girl. I snap at least one or 2 every time I see her. This was with a Nikon 35TI and Neopan 400. This is MY best of 2008 and hopefully 2009.

Sorry for interrupting images stream but... what is that film/dev/etc combo? That contrast and grain drives me crazy (and I enjoy it).

I made this image after three days of hiking on the Inca Trail. I had to run the last 2 miles down psycho Inca stairs and trail to capture this light, totally worth it though.

I've taken a LOT of pictures this year, probably more than any other by far. But the one picture I took this year that means the most to me - is this picture I took of my mom while I was with her for her birthday. Sadly, two weeks later she passed away (it was a bit of a surprise/shock to all).
Lovely. And quite a special memory.

You said two photos? Man that's tough. I chose these from two different paying gigs:

My wife praying over our greyhound, Zoomer, who at the time was dying of bone cancer. Since then, he has had his leg amputated and is courageously fighting a recovery.
Leica MP, 50/f1.4 Summilux, and Arista Premium 400.
A couple of late day/early evening scenes from my front yard (same equipment).
Oh, this is just too hard to pick a favorite!
Here's a couple taken with my evil DSLR.
My front yard.
Okay, last one.
