your dream combo?

Black MP .58, Leicavit M, Mini Softrelease, 35/2 Summicron IV. That's been my go-to kit since the advent of the MP, loaded with either APX 100 or Tri-X. On occasion I've been known to flirt with others, but in the end am always recalled to the tried and true.

I'm lucky as well.
This combo makes me very happy.

My dream combo?

An a-la-carte MP with a CV Nokton 40mm f1.4 AND custom framelines for 40mm.

40mm has turned out to be the most optimal 'standard' focal length for me (courtesy of my Canonet). The MP is the most beautiful RF (although ridiculously expensive), the Nokton probably the best 40mm.

But a Nokton on my M2 with an external finder will work just fine. Or maybe I give into to temptation again and try a CL.

kameraden!
what, is or was your "dream combo" of one camera and one lens- y'know, the one you always drooled over but could never afford? (or, is it what you have right now?)

for me- I'd say it would be somewhere along the lines of a black M4 and a Noct- because I'd never be able to afford either! haha!hahaha! (okay, because I like to hide in the dark and would like a solid RF...)

but realistically, I need to get out and shoot more- I'm like trapped by the snow or something. and I'm content with the stuff I've got at the moment, and if I'm not, I don't have the cash to buy anyways...

cheers,
Dragunov

OK, so I am always the odd man out, but I am happy with my Kiev and like the 50mm Helios. I'm trying to develop a love affair with the 35, and although I enjoy for some shots, I don't see it as the only lens to use. As another poster said above, there are too many cameras and lenses to go crazy for just one.

And by the way Grasshopper, I hope you got out this weekend. No excuses for weather if you are referring to the capital of the USA. Beautiful weather for this time of year. Temps in the 50's and 60's.
