I guess this is my current favorite for 2017 although that can, and probably will, change as I sort through my photos.
This was taken during a sudden blizzard that hit the Ruby Mountains in September. I love going into the mountains when its snowing. Sometimes I get stuck but that is what friends and winches are for. I returned from this trip with several keepers but this is the print that has stayed on my wall for the past 3 months.
This time I carried my Zeiss Ikon Contarex equipped with the Bllitz Planar 50/2, one of my favorite lenses. I don't get this camera out as often as I should because it almost always gives me images that I like. I used Ilford HP5+, a film I am becoming very fond of the more I use it. I souped it in some D-23 for about 9 minutes.
