The madness inside the dugout at my little brothers championship little league game... it was tied, 4th inning with a bunch of players on base. my brothers in the middle.
mamiya c300 portra 160vc. sorry, the blue hues and just the way my bad scanner rendered the blacks.

Wow, what a great thread. Shows what great images those old-fashioned, out-dated, out-moded TLRs can make.

Great photos guys, esp Thafred's, Tarzak's and Telenous'. Reminds me to take the Rolleicord out for a walk one of these days. How do you scan these? Negs, prints, flatbed or do you have that uber expensive Nikon 4000 ED?

This is still one of my favorites. It was on the first roll I put through my Rolleiflex 2.8F, which was also the first roll of film my Rollei had seen in over 30 years.

Yes, it's of my dog. So sue me.

For all of you guys who were using color film, what did you use? I saw that some of you used provia, but what are some other nice medium format films that you've used?

Thanks!

Favorite films: Fuji Professional 160S, 400H, and 800Z, depending on the situation.

@NB23: That photo is fantastic! Her shoes really add the final touches on an already beautiful photo. I thought it gave it sort of an old 50's or 60's look to it. Was the dagger on the floor intentional?

@summilux: Beautiful! What film is that?

I'm a huge Ultra 50 fan. For some reason I can't see my pics in this thread (my hosting service might be having issues), but I know I have one in my gallery on this site taken with it. Unfortunately it's a film that was axed by Agfa some time ago, though with the revival of the Agfa films who knows what might happen...

I also really enjoy Porta VC films in medium format. Great color, beautiful tones.

Ian and Thafred, wonderful images!

An image I shot at Beltring War&Peace show 2007, my skills and the Ciroflex lens quality pale in comparison to your wonderful photos ;)

It's not the best I've ever taken, but the slightly fuzzy quality does give it a ww2-period feel.

Just curious, but can you recall what aperture you used for your photo? The Ciroflex and Graflex 22 (same camera, different name) had some pretty good triplet lenses which are plenty sharp when stopped down, and in my experience, perform acceptably when opened up. If I can ever find the time, I'll post some pics I made with my Graflex 22. The results are good enough that if I'd state they were made using a Tessar or Planar on a Rolleiflex, very few would argue with me.

Having said that, at first glance I thought you had made your exposure in the 1940's.
