Two recent shots, using Portra 160NC and Tri-X, scanned with an Epson V750. I'm sure the frames are not to everybody's taste...

Cheers,
Torsten

@ Torsten: I like both your shots, specially the first in which I see a sign of actual times. And living int the country of the Vespa of course I appreciate the second shot as well!

Thanks a lot, Robert. I've just returned from a week in beautiful Tuscany - of course with the Rollei! I haven't had time to scan the negs but I hope that at least some photos will reproduce the beauty of your country.

Robert, I really like Vespas; however they're quite expensive over here. A 2008 Granturismo at a nearby dealer is $4600 USD!

Maybe someday...

The one on the left, facing away from the camera - doesn't look like a Vespa. Is it possibly a Lambretta?

Thanks Ted.
My wife likes the first shot so I included it. I too thought the highlight was a bit too blown out. I wanted to upload another photo but my wife didn't really like it. But that's OK.

Things did seem to turn out pretty well in general, but I find HC110 frustrating. With over-agitation highlights can be blown out and I've done it too much. What's worse is that it's tough to get a straight answer as to what the dev times for Tri-X is. The new formulation anyway.

Hi Darkhorse,

I love #2 & 3. It is a pity (IMO) that #3 has such a narrow DOF. But, good work.

I too have just run a roll of Tri-X 400 120 through an Autocord and am not certain whether to develop in Rodinal (RO9) - decisions, decisions eh?
