Your favourite photo(s) you took with a TLR

I love Rolleiflexes as well. But I never liked the 2.8 versions as they are too heavy and they (both Planar and Xenotar) did not perform well wide opened. However, both Planar and Xenotar 3.5 performed very well wide opened. And they are much lighter. But now I tend to favour my Tessar 3.5 which is even lighter. I don't mind the two side operation. The place where you sent the lens for recoating, is it the one which no longer operates?

The rolleicord 3 will never be sold, I love it, it is cheap, and when I need to shoot in the wild I will surely bring this one and not the dear flex.
The russian company is still running but it seems they don't do recoating of lenses anymore. I remember that he told me that he has to bring the lens himself to some kind of another factory. The resulting coating is green.

My 2.8F is sharper than my 3.5F was, for what it's worth - but the 3.5F was in bad condition which probably has a lot to do with it. Plus Bay 3 accessories are easier to find than Bay 2. Anyway, some pictures from the 2.8F:

This is probably the only completely straight picture I have ever taken with a TLR

Historicist,

The light in your second picture is simply superb, plus whatever film you used appears grainless. Very fine photo.

I like this one. Rolleiflex 2.8.

A couple of my recent favorites from a cross-processed roll of expired Fuji 64T Type II slide film. Taken with a Yashica 635.
