Your favourite photo(s) you took with a TLR

Aaaaah! Lovely shot. I might have cropped it just a bit, the upper right corner is a bit distracting. But none the less, nice. I especially like the three-dimensional feel. The out of focus areas fade off so naturally that its as if I was there, seeing with my own eyes.

It also makes me wonder why I want to buy a new bike, mine is a mere 15 years old.

Otto, one of his many talents...

I think the focus is off, its focused on his neck/shoulder area rather than his head where i intended it to be. F/4 1/60s (i think), Ilford xp2 400.

Andy

P.S. I am not this dumb usually, but how does one get the pictures larger than this one, like the one above my post here, without it being an attachment? I got the pic in to the reply box and i could re size it but this is as big as it went.

Some grandmasters of chess

Shot in October 1986 at the opening of a chess tournament. With my Rolleiflex and Ikoflex around my neck, I could pop in with the real photojournalists :)

I have Finally had my first rolls of film taken with my first TLR (Mamiya C220) Developed.
I don't access to a scanner so the negatives have been photographed with a digital camera and converted in lightroom
thats why they aren't flat and there are a lot of marks from the plastic sheet they were on

converting images this way is not that easy, I hope it is easier with a proper scanner

that said, I like this TLR photography :)

After only dipping my toes in the water with a couple rolls a year or so ago, I've been giving my Mamiya C330 a healthy workout the last few weeks. It's been said before, but I must say that after shooting mostly with RFs using fast film for a while, there's something truly mind blowing about the image quality using slower film in a larger format. The black and white image was taken using Ilford Pan F Plus, and it's almost grain free! On top of that, the image is cropped from the full 6x6 negative. I made an 11x14 print yesterday with roughly the same composition, and it's so beautiful to look at, it's going to be a little hard for me to go back to shooting and/or pushing Tri-X all over the place for a bit.

The second photo was taken a few minutes later after I finished the roll of Pan F Plus and switched to Kodak E100GX. It was too nice of a day to only shoot black and white, since color is a rare thing indeed here in Seattle. I took the second shot while on the phone with my dad. He talks a lot, and after I saw the boat coming from the left, I knew I wouldn't be able to get him to stop while I took a picture. I only had one chance to take it (and one hand to take it with!), so I held my breath and fired the shutter. Fortunately, I managed to get the shot I wanted.
