Taken with Rolleicord Va, 75mm Xenar lens. A lith print.
 
Very nice Eirik. Now I'm jonesing to try a Flexaret, in the firm belief that it will make me a better photographer. Or maybe I should consume more coffee. 🙂
 
Good on you. It is my first TLR, and it certainly hasn´t put me off this family of cameras at all, quite the opposite. Just remember to tighten the spring loaded screw, come button, retaining the rear cover after loading film. Screw it in to take up the spring slack so that it can´t open. Apart from that there are no surprises. The Belar lens is on practically all models, the shutters may differ. Make sure if you have to set top shutter speed before cocking the camera or not.

Hello

I only recently picked up my first TLR a Yashica MAT124G , so am very new at using it.

Here is my favorite pic so far

This was shot on a sunny afternoon, with the totally wrong film, Ilford 3200, but I still love it.

Just yesterday I was using my Yashica D, and I must have shot 5-6 photos before I realized I didn't advance the frame. :bang::bang:
Takes some practice I must say. 😀
But love the WLF.
 
Thanks Dan. I had double exposures on the first frame on the first three films on my Rolleiflex until I understood that while loading film I flicked the double exposure switch on the crank collar. You live and you learn.
 
All taken with my MPP Microflex. Numbers 1, 3, 4 and 5 on Kodak Portra 160 (new style), number 2 on Kodak Portra 400VC wide open near sunset. Developed by a lab and scanned by me on my Epson V600 flatbed. No PP other than dust spotting and resizing for the web.

Nice job, hefty. That MPP Microflex renders beautifully. Always wanted to give that camera a spin, but was never able to lay hands on one. Thanks for the lovely photos -- recalls a past life. Where in Bucks? A former in-law once lived in an old heap calling itself Wotton House, in a little hamlet in the Vale of Aylesbury. I think some hot shot ex-politico has since moved in next door.

Thanks for the compliments - I just adore the Micronar lens on this camera. It's not quite as sharp wide open in the corners as the Planar on my 3.5E was, but I find the results far more pleasing to my eye. They're not exactly thick on the ground but they do come up from time-to-time.

I'm Aylesbury Vale born and bred - the picture of the cow was taken in Cuddington, the tulips in my garden in Haddenham and the car shots at the rugby club in Weston Turville. Most of my photos are taken around Aylesbury so it's lucky it's quite a picturesque part of the country really. 😉

I likewise would like to say those are great pictures, good to see someone else from Bucks, I live in West Sussex now but I was born in Thame soon moving to Haddenham, and so know Cuddington very well.

The Aylesbury Vale is just wonderful, as are the whole Chilterns. I have a great deal of nostalgia for the whole of Bucks, always feels like home for me, even though I have not lived there since 1988!

Anyway great photos, are you on Flickr, I would love to follow your pictures, and the Portra 160, magnificent! I have a fridge full ready to shoot next week on my holiday to Italy, the colour in these are just to die for.

Anyway enough gushing but you have a fan,

Wow I'm honoured - I've never had a fan before so please don't let me stop the gushing! Especially a fan with some obvious talent judging by your own photos...

I do have a Flickr account but I don't update it all that often, you can have a look here though - there's a nice photo of Cuddington taken with the Microflex/Portra 160 combo on the first page. It's a bit of a mixed bag of film and digital images but if you skip back a few pages there are some Yashica and Rollei shots from last year.

By coincidence I've a couple of rolls sat in front of me waiting to be sent to the lab, one of which is full of street shots I took in Thame last Saturday. Small world isn't it?

And I am loving the new Portra 160; I was never that keen on the old VC and NC versions so I used Fuji Reala instead, but now I think I've been converted. The colours aren't 100% accurate (although that could be fixed in PP if important) but I think they're just beautiful - who needs accuracy anyway?
