Was digging thru some old files this weekend and stumbled across these images I made in a studio sometime around 2009 with a Rolleiflex 2.8D I had at the time.
Still futzing around with this new-to-me Beautyflex D (80 mm f/3.5 Biokor lens). Composition here is nothing special, but I'm impressed at how this simple lens handled the textures and tones. Granted a lot of lenses can do competent work stopped down. This was 1/25s at f/8, Delta 100 through Rodinal.
Looking at the ferns in the back, however, I'm concerned this lens will yield gnarly spastic bokeh if faced with a background that is all foliage all the way.
