Your thoughts on Nikkor 50/1.8 AI-S Japanese pancake version

From those diagrams the 50/1.8 Nikkors all look the same, but they aren't - the glass types and coatings are different, and the curvatures must have been modified for at least some of them because the distance between the front element and the back element is not the same for all of them.

I love the trichromes dourbalistar.

@ dourbalistar: I'm convinced the AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.8S is an good, I can even say excellent lens.

But when I look at all these pictures I think...it is the photographer not the tool!

Congrats, you have a great eye and good technical abilities ! Bravo!
