Your thoughts on Nikkor 50/1.8 AI-S Japanese pancake version

Wonderful photos to look at and enjoy. I like the tonality and especially the lighting of the indoor photos.

Thank you for the kind words, Pál_K! We have a big window by our kitchen table, and at the right time of day, the light bouncing off our neighbor's house acts like a giant softbox. :D

^ Hiking sticks with flip-flops; an interesting combination! :D

Nice shots, by the way!

Thanks, Smaug! Yeah, my friend is a total beast. I don't know how he backpacks in flip-flops, but he does. And he'll routinely schlep several six-packs of beer on the trail. I guess that's not much different than me carrying several cameras and a tripod.

Love this one. If only she had put down the phone and just looked at you instead...

I wasn't about to ask, lest I incur the wrath of wife and daughter. :D

^ This is some pretty cute stuff!

I didn't pose her and I have no idea where she learned that little leg twist, but I predict I'll be in a lot of trouble when she reaches her teenage years.
