Hmm.
The top five cameras that have given me the images I most liked and gave me the performance I wanted or required (image is king)
1. Nikon FE2
2. Leica M2
3. Minolta Hi-Matic E
4. Rolleicord Vb
5. Leica M240
But like a lot of folks here, I have (or had) more cameras than that. And, I focused on the smaller format stuff. For example, my 4x5 cameras give amazing results, but the above have been most useful/productive/life-giving (income). I didn't really just use a Nikon FE-2, but a system of lenses and bodies including FM2, F2, and even an EM, later a D90 and D700. But the FE-2 was my first Nikon body from which the system was built. I became a rangefinder afficionado because of the Minolta Hi-Matic E. I couldn't believe the quality of the images from its lens. I also dabbled in the Rollei SLR35 system (SL35, SL35E, 2002). Ah, I could go on....
