Hello??

It has been, hasn't it? Maybe everyone is inside. If Bridgeport is anything like Indiana weatherwise, it's too cold to go out and shoot--it's 17 degrees as I type this!

It has been too quiet around here lately. I promise to post some pictures from my first roll when i get my electro back from hama.

I'm still half way through my first roll in my Electro 35GT.
Haven't got much spare time at the moment (and, realistically, can't afford to get the film developed at the moment...). Once it is done, things will be posted.

Ever since my roll of Velvia has been stuck inside my GSN due to operator error, shes been put inside the dry cab until I figure out how to salvage it :bang:

Meanwhile I've been spending much time with my Bessa T-101 and Nokton 40mm

Oh no!! It's happening again!!! No posts for two days!!

I guess everyone is out shopping? :D

I've just put two rolls through my GTN. The first was UC400 sent by my brother in Omaha Ne (can't by it in the UK), never tried it before. The second was Portra 400NC, actually I haven't used that before either. Hopefully the results will interesting. The UK weather is currently uninspiring.

I've jammed the rewind lever on my GSN, so that's another camera to repair. :( Luckily I finished a roll right before it jammed.

Its quite the opposite for me. See my GSN is working so well that Ive got nothing to ask or complain about. Im just out there shooting and enjoying the camera.

The dust has settled from the Electro gear lust and Ive only managed to stop after accumulating 5 of them. They all need a bit of cleaning but Ive been so busy shooting with my current clean one that I never get around to it.

I've been out shooting with my canonet that i got from the great give away thread, still need to send my electro to hamma, but im waiting for color samples from cameraleather so i can decide what color i want

I got a piece of nice leatherette from a Flickr friend from the Philippines and did some cutting and gluing on my Yashica GX. Fifteen minutes work and it looks like the skin has been ordered from cameraleather, perfect fit also.
When I tried to load a film in the camera, I couldn't open the film door.
I my enthusiasm I also glued the door to the camerahouse from the outside. But with a little force (and a sharp knife) it opened like an oyster.
It sounds all stupid, but despite all this my GX is really looking handsome.

I guess I'm just going to have to keep bumping this up until somebody comes up with something to post!

Of course, I don't have anything interesting either...

Anyway, the UC400 came out a bit like this:

British seaside in winter, love it!

I haven't souped any of the film yet but for the passt couple of weeks I've put aside my 15mm Heliar equipped Bess L and I've been schlepping my chrome on brass 21/3.4 Super Angulon on my heavy as hell M3 body. I'm just getting used to one handed operation in either hand with all that extra weight but I'm not yet sure how my b'guess and b'gosh framing is with with that "narrow" angle lens. Also, I'm trying to avoid using the rangefinder with it. I get along without it just fine with the 15 and I should be OK with the 21 as well, but the damned thing IS THERE! Not using it is as diffiicult as not chimping a digital.

I've been shooting with my canonet lately, theres a thread in the fixed lens rf forum with a few shots from the first roll i put through it. I still need to get my electro sent off for repair. I can't wait to put some slide film through that beast

Still having fun with the Electro, its become one of my favorites. Im still stunned when I see how amazingly sharp that lens is. Its my main go to camera for color negative films.

Ive been using it so much that even my Canon P and 35mm dont get much use nowadays.

Here's some pictures to lively up the thread!
