Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Not much this weekend, I'll probably carry the 10D around since I'm low on film. I'm saving my last 6 rolls of film (2x Tri-x, 2x Acros, 2x Ektar) for a shoot next saturday with the M4. I'll probably take the 10D along that day too.

I need to test (probably with Rollei Retro 80S) a Minolta SRT-100 I bought cheap, from a friend. The body is fairly rough, but the 58mm f/1.4 lens is perfect. I'll probably end up donating it to a worthy photographic cause (like the Film Photography Podcast), once I've seen that it works.

This weekend...Great Smokey Mountain National Park on saturday with the Mamiya & Phase One back. Sunday the Trip 35 w/ some Acros in Knoxville, TN. On a 3-month consulting assignment in Knoxville, so the spirit of adventure with the Trip 35 is calling me; great older buildings and the remainder of the Fall foliage.

Anyone have suggestions for the area?

Shot a roll of 400cn today and half a roll of HP5 in the hills above the Lune Valley.
All with a Pentax ME /120 SMC .
The M3 / Canon 50 Serenar didn`t see any action.
Maybe tomorrow when I`m heading over to Fairburn Ings in Yorkshire.

I took Bigfoot out this morning with a 28mm lens and Kodachrome 25. Foggy. No light. Hopefully I can finish the roll this afternoon and tomorrow. In daylight, not fog.

One frame of HP5 shot in the Yashica A.
Couple of frames today shot in the FED-2/I-26; 5-6 shots Friday night at the University of Alabama/Auburn University women's volleyball game, just for sport :).
Couple of frames today in the Stylus 3.5, Fuji 200.
Some kind of cam will go with us to a wedding here in a little while.
On Sunday, up at sunrise with the Yashica A to see what I can see ...

It's raining.
Tomorrow I will fix the R-D1 on my Gitzo tripod in the kitchen, then I will mask the original viewfinder of my Voigtlander 15mm with black tape, in order to use it with the X1,5 factor of the R-D1 :
Cheaper than buy a D-viewfinder or a 21mm viewfinder…

Well I managed to finish off the end of a roll of Fomopan 100 in the M3 but didn`t finish the HP5 in the Pentax.
I was visiting a bird reserve in Yorkshire.
Just about everone else had a DSLR with an 800 lens.
One such chap told me he took about 4 to 5 hundred shots at a time.
I should try harder :)

It takes much of the photography enjoyment when you can shoot frame after frame and you can see the results immediately.

I used the Canon T90 yesterday and today, with the 50/1.2L and the 85/1.2L. I missed using some SLR lenses.

Americans are mainly enjoying a Thanksgiving break.

What are you up to this weekend?

Recovered yesterday from Thanksgiving. Today, I finished a roll of HP5 in my Yashica A. I will run the film in D-76 tonight.
I also finished a roll of Fuji 200 in my Stylus; the roll will go to Walgreens along with a roll of Fuji 200 I finished in my Nikon One Touch on Thanksgiving.
Also this weekend, my wife and I are deciding on black and white photos of mine for a book for each of our children for Christmas presents. Each book - or album - will contain 20 black and white 4x6 images tailored for each of the kids.

How right you are Raid.

Sat night here and the UK is gripped (they always say gripped) by snow although it`s clear but cold where I am on the west coast.
I just got a Pentax screw to K adapter in the post as I thought it might be fun to use a Chinon 135/2.8 lens that I had in the `70s.
Went out today where I stable the horse and shot a few frames in the fields.
Hopefully finish the roll tomorrow which ,if I do, will be a record for me.
Plus there`s an RFF meet in Manchester on Monday:D

Finished another roll of Kodachrome today. I then played with the LeicaBladTech5Berry* on the streets and in the alleys of Mineloa, TX. Fun stuff.

LeicaBladTech5Berry* = The free camera that came with my free BlackBerry Torch from WallyWorld on Thanksgiving Day.

It is Friday, and weekend is just about to start soon.

I am in my last roll of Kodachrome, and that one has to be completed this weekend. We have "cold weather" these days in Pensacola, which makes colors pop up in the sky. Maybe this is a Rolleiflex weekend?

What will you be up to?

Crisp, cool weather this weekend. I am hoping to receive a batch of Kentmere 400 and a light seal kit for a Canon G-III today or Saturday - and hoping for a roll of K400 to go into the Canon for testing. But the Canon no longer trips the shutter when I push the button. It was firing just fine when I went to work. Not firing when I got home last night. I had brought home two G-IIIs from my dad's over Thanksgiving. The other already was refusing to fire.
So, I reckon I will finish a roll of K400 in the FE2, and maybe a roll in the FED-2. I may load up the Petri 2.8 with some K400. Surely there will be film to develop and scan ...

Few inches of snow this past week, will hopefully get the chance to fill up the roll of film in my Leica I before it all melts.

Not much else planned this weekend, except cleaning and shopping.

Community Christmas thing going on this weekend. Lots of photo ops, so I'll be wondering the streets for two days. DSLR stuff, but I'll have the M4-P along loaded with Tri-X.
