And if that's Maui to the left, then that on the right could indeed be Lanai, or Molokai! Is one of them sorta kidney-shaped? 🙂
The plane banked left around Haleakala then made a 180 to the right northward up the valley to land at Kahului. Whew, thanks Cap'n Bob!

Edit: Ooops, just noticed after I posted that this is for film cameras with the 28mm Summicron. This photo was done with that lens but on an M9 I think.

Wow. I did not see this before. My heart skipped a beat. Such tones and the light at the right side and other end of the canoe. Magic.
