I may not need a Rolleiflex

I just got my first rolls back from processing. This is now my favorite Rokkor.

The late Al Kaplan was an Autocord fan and owner ... that's good enough for me!

Nice pic. 🙂

For the tessaar-type lenses, the Rokkor is great. And the Autocord's design and ergonomics are wonderful. I recently used my Autocord on a project because I had fears about taking my Rolleiflex 2.8C into an environment, and I have no regrets. Smooth with just enough bite to make things stand out. As your shots show.

I agree on the colour. Though I've no experience with the camera. I have a Flexaret that shares the same lens formula and focuing mechanism. But I really prefer the ergonimics of the Kalloflex (also Tessar formula).

But neither is a substitiute for a big 'flex. The feeling of quality and the results the Planar (or Xenotar) can attain are just something else.

So why do I still feel like I need an Autocord, a Ricohflex, a Walzflex, a ...flex?
