I don't drink coffee (it makes my stomach hurt), but I know this place. My favourite hotel in Rome is the Empire Palace on via Aureliana, so I've seen Termini Station a lot. They have nice pastries and make good hot chocolate.
There is a Photo Booth at 61 Via Volturno between Termini and that hotel at which I missed an incredible photo - a very old, almost spectral looking woman, with extremely long white hair, wearing a nightdress and a magnificent but slightly tatty looking fur coat, was sitting in there, peering out, parting the curtain slightly in very angled winter dusk light. As I went for my camera she toppled over onto the footpath (it was the middle of winter) and couldn't get up. I got a Carabinieri, who got an ambulance, which took her somewhere, but only after establishing the she was not related to me and that she was not on the footpath on account of me knocking her down. She was incoherent, my Italian is not good, and we relied on witnesses, who had not seen much. It was hard. Had things gone better I would have bought her a hot chocolate, or a coffee.
