Camera and Coffee

It was high noon and I was about to keel over from heat exhaustion so I went to the Caffé Veloce for a cup of coffee and a large dose of air-conditioning. 30 minutes later I felt like a new man!

How do you like the bialetti? Looking for a coffee solution for my camper.
The Bialetti is the best coffee (espresso) machine for someone who loves simple things. Every 1000 or so shots the gasket needs to be changed, that´s about it. It won´t produce crema like a professional coffee machine, but the taste of the coffee is great.

I agree about Bialetti and IMO the aluminum machines produce the best coffee (even though I‘m not exactly sure why).

Are they a bit tricky to avoid getting a metallic or burnt flavor at first? I have limited experience with them but I've gotten some poor brews. I understand getting them off the heat when they start bubbling up is important.

Of course they shouldn´t run dry while on the flame, that´s the worst case. The point of starting to bubble varies a lot in my experience. One of my worn out machines used to start bubbling half way through, but when I had changed the funnel (after 15 years or so), bubbling meant the coffee was complete.
