Camera and Coffee

I give up: what is an MR50? I have RM640's, PX14's, and a few other bizarre ones. But MR50, I do not know. What other designations does it have?

Harvey, good to see you on this site. It's a friendly version of...other sites.. 🙂

Nice looking cameras - and coffee - thanks for posting !

Eh Oscar, I went to this place in Brisbane and my friend ordered her capuccino and it came in a soup bowl! The size of the bowl is as big as those used to serve congee or noodle soup in Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants. No photo though. I was mesmerized to see it.

😱

Hey, that's a very good one !! Really creative ! Has it something to do with that spilled coffee episode you told us some time ago ?? 😉

Now that I remember, seems to be a common thing also in the bars/cafes of some mountain villages here in Catalonia but it's the usual 'café con leche' and not such an elaborated capuccino 😀

But... imagine the size of the croissant !! 😉

Pherdinand - great shot! You've now raised the bar for posting creative camera-coffee shots here 🙂 Love it!

Nope, no filter it's just sun reflections. Looks kinda nice though.

🙂thanks guys! yes, Gene, it's a nice big-eyed GSN, in pristine condition (less the scratch on the winding knob which I produced, hehh) . Got it from Jon Goodman, who i've met through photo.net, by the way. I payed 46$ of which 16 was the postage from US to the netherlands :bang:
But i like using it, so it was a well-spent amount i'd say.

Russ,the spilled coffee thing .

Gene

It is a IIf. I have got a couple of other screw mounts tucked away because they need to have the rangfinder patches renewed. That will be a winter works project to send them out. They have their challenges when using but are worth the effort though.

Agree with Gene - love the look of the older screw-mount Leicas...

Thanks for posting!
