Well, Bill M also sent me the ad for the Canon P with 50/1.8 and coupled clip-on meter. Followed Brian's instructions and, that's it 🙂 Only that the water here is too hard and the lens came out chrome instead of black 😉

Taffer, I don't suppose you happened to photo-copy that advertisement for the P before you added the water? Perhaps you could send me a copy? 😀

Melbourne's water is quite soft - I might end up with a black lens!

Very nice, pukupi. Hexar RF was one of the cameras I seriously considered before getting a R2A. Those things are twice (yours is probably 3 times) more $$$ than Bessas. Do you have any pix taken with it and posted?

I have some photos taken with the Hexar RF here.

What started out as an opportunity to buy the Hexanon 50/1.2 turned into a major GAS attack and I ended up with the entire kit. I was lucky to get it for 200,000 Yen which is about 100,000 Yen less than you would normally pay for the kit in this condition. Still twice what I paid for my Bessa kit which I will unfortunately have to sell now 🙁

Greyhoundman and I took advantage of the Spring-like weather this morning and took our cameras out to take some pics and stopped for coffee at Panera's. 🙂

This was my first time out with my Oly 35 RC. I really love the feel of this camera!
I am looking forward to seeing the results.

greyhoundman, I'm impressed that you know the Irish spelling of the word whiskey. Have you been to Co. Antrim by any chance?

You must go. I'm actually English but my whole family background is Irish. I lived in Dublin for eight years and loved every minute of it, and my sister still lives there. Understand what you're saying about the family business. 😉 You probably know that Bushmills (which is a pretty little place) is near Portrush in Co. Antrim - a very beautiful part of the country. Probably the most famous thing in the area is not the whiskey, but the Giant's Causeway, which is stunning. Co. Antrim is in the North, not the Republic.
