Camera and Coffee

Details of the Trigger wind on the VI-T.

The Nikon E3 that I use is pretty convenient, uses PCMCIA cards directly. It is also the last full-frame digital camera that Nikon made- 1998.

Matching Camera and Mug!

Is it the Photo, or does that C35 have a patch over its RF Window? A Pirate C35?

Canon P. That really is a "P"retty camera. You know, I need to get one of those soon.

Have you got shots back from the 50mm F1.4 yet?

the konica does have a small trangular window in the corner of the larger window. when i look through the vf i can see what zone i'm in.

i used the 50/1.4 for a number of shots last thursday evening at a small club but have not processed the film yet.

Hmm. I like the non-aerodynamic style of the P, Joe! Somehow it's not my style today's industrial design, with making everything with rounded corners - from computer monitors through cars to cameras - , i much prefer well defined edges instead of curves. Except in very obvious cases designed by Mother Nature, of course ;)

Nice mug! You've painted it?

Joe, you picked a winner for the new avatar.

The lighting on the 50mm F1.4 is beautiful, and really brings out the coatings in it.

I need to find a source of 48mm slotted sunshades.

thanks guys, i have to admit, i really like this shot also.
i've made it my screen saver on my home computer and i find myself staring at it sometimes.

2 light sources, one above and off to the side a bit - a sears worklight - and i had a 60 watt bulb in a reflector that i was moving around trying it at different angles/elevations.

GREY Voigtlander Bessa R2a & Coffee

GREY Voigtlander Bessa R2a & Coffee

Arrived today - initially not sure about the colour but I'm getting used to it and now beginning to feel a bit "Kreigsmarine"!

With my olive Bessa R2 and now this......I 'm pretty sure an "al a carte" Leica might be on the cards at some point in the very distant future.

Grey Bessas are shipping now from Mr White - highly recommend this great shop.

No the coffee was foul. Instant Nescafe from a jar and also ran out of sugar. Truth be told I ditched it in the sink straight after shooting. Is that against the spirit of this thread? Will my posts be deleted?

Beautiful in grey and nicely captured. Dumping the coffee violates no rules that I am aware of, but I believe we have agreed that quality cameras like the Bessa be photographed with coffee of their equal (Kenya, Columbian, Kona, etc.). Perhaps a 126 Instamatic with the Nescafe? :D

Or a Polaroid camera? ;)

Wasn't meant entirely as a joke - I just thought instant coffe and instant cameras would go well together (and I know that you can do great stuff with Polaroids).
