I will supply you some of the finest coffees in the world, if you will cover the minor expense of my personalized delivery service.

The coffee is cold, the table is messy, but I'm entitled because today is my fiftieth birthday. (I never tell anyone when it's my birthday, but this year, I feel like sharing.)

My wife left a card before leaving for work with a couple of birthday-themed scratch off lottery tickets inside. I'll wait til she gets home to see if I'm lucky today. Actually, I'm still here, so I already know I'm lucky.

Back country brew. Tastes like camp fuel. Does help with the cold a bit.

I've been quite busy over the past few Sundays and haven't had my morning coffee at my desk. Yesterday I was able to get a shot in. New camera and new cup and saucer.

Computer, Coffee and Camera, New G11. I was scouting Bing Maps for a new place to shoot here in Phoenix. I may have found an abandonned house site on North Mountain that I can drive up to. I'll try to check it out.

How you likin that G11?
Hey Fenwick,
I've really taken a liking to the G11. It was a bit dicey at first. It renders Auto White Balance a bit more "true to life" than most digital camera users are used to; if there is a color cast on the walls in mixed lighting, that is what you get. Also, instead of using flash, it pushes the ISO pretty high in AUTO mode. I just switch to P with ISO 80 and Auto Flash if I want flash pictures. Other than this, the learning curve has been pretty smooth. The G11 can produce stunning pictures without using lots of memory/time resources. Makes for faster PP as well. Check out my set on Flickr. There are a variety of shots to judge the camera from.
