Petri 7s came with me to wrk

Petri 7s came with me to wrk

So i made some coffee, was reading a paper and noticed the Petri7s had hid into my backpack masterfully....

Here it is ;)

face it, you do have too many cameras.

just put some in a box, put the box in the basement, some corner, and casually mention to your wife that you think you saw a mouse down there and will need to do something about it...soon.

Ooops, I did forget the Minolta...
Nope, no sale going on, and if you think that are a lot of cameras, you should see my bookshelves...

Here is my favorite little RF, my favorite beer, and my SLR ( OH! forgive me!) with a new skin that I just couldn't help but show off! :D

YankeeDoll, nice looking color scheme on the SLR... but what kind of body is that? Despite the Pentax lens, it isn't a Pentax body, is it... Ricoh maybe? :)

King feeling...

King feeling...

Hi all,
so weekend again, time for a coffee in the garden.
King feeling i admit.
Cheers,

nemjo

Doug, sorry for the delay in answering your question - dang board kept shutting down! You're right, it's a (Ricoh) Sears KS II Super. It's a little smaller & lighter than a Pentax so I am more comfortable with it.

That's why I like the Oly so much. It's size & weight fits me perfectly.

Okay, not only does he have good looking gear and a great place to drink coffee, but nemjo even has a leather case for his Zippo. I am so out of my league here.

Enjoyed your gallery!

Here's a pic of a Welta Weltini II, circa. 1939, which I've been using quite a bit lately to experiment with C-41 color print film. It's with tea, not coffee.

"So, which one is older, the Welta or the typewriter?"

Captain Slack

Good eyes, Captain --- it's a Woodstock (formerly made in Woodstock, Illinois). My wife bought it for me at a flea market several years back, and it was "fully Y2K compliant." It still chugs along pretty much as well as it did when it was made in about 1927 (so it's about 12 years older than the Welta, which also works well). On the other hand, in the several years since I got the Woodstock typewriter, I have gone through two computers and at least three printers ... "progress," I suppose. ;)

Here are some scanned pics from the Weltini II. Between f 2.9-4.0, about 1/100 sec., Fuji 200 C-41 color print film.

Here's the newest addition to my RF collection, a FED 2d, posing along with one of my Grandmother's Nestle globe cups filled with Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

I'm really growing to like this camera, but I think it's going to have to make a return trip to Mother Russia for a visit to Oleg's Camera Clinic. It's got a stiff shutter dial that's starting to cause some trouble.
