Camera and Coffee

I hope that coffee was spiked with something... :)

Peter

of course not,
while I was the one with the car,
and so I don't use alcohol

but when later my friend enjoyed a guiness,
I hated to be the taxidriver :-(

I love this thread. Thanks to all who have posted lately, even though I haven't had time to reply to each.

CVBLZ4, neat shot. Starbarfs? I rather like Starbucks myself. Am I being too uncritical?? :)

Yeah, just a joke Gene. :) I like it too, and am a regular at this particular location. Friends buy me Starbucks gift cards, bags of beans, cups, etc. because they know I'm a fan.

Gene: You KNOW I consider Charbucks less than optimal, but when you don't have that many choices, it will do ... and the company is FAR more important than the coffee. But this does bring up an interesting idea .... seems like Port Credit is ripe for a premier yet independent coffee house. If I could get Java Joe's beans into a shop in a Port Credit locale, I'd be there in a second.

CVBLZ4, thanks for the clarification. Maybe we can both sign up for Starbucks Anonymous... :)

Earl, you do that and I'll switch instantly!

charbucks...i love it!

that is exactly how that coffee tastes to me.

nice fujica, always wanted to play with one, good lenses i have heard too.

joe: If I weren't awash in cameras, I would have bought it for myself. Instead, I was the courier; it went to a co-worker as a "modern" M42 body to compliment his Zenit gear. As it was, Gene twisted my arm to take a Mamiya-Sekor 1000DTL for $20 ... and he threw in a free CZJ 135/3.5, which is what hooked me. I slapped the Jena on the OM-1n via an M42-OM adapter ... shot wide open.

rollie = Roland

He's on my "I hate you list" now cuz not only did he gat a 180/2.8, but he has 4t as well. And the 4t was a steal. Ooops, he asked me not to say that part.

Roland, that's a beautiful OM. I've been told that model is really special. I used only OM-1's so never got to play with one of these.

Trius, Joe, you are aware I'm merely pushing you to your own logical conclusions, right?

:)
