I missed what?

That is a very cool Argus! Did you do that yourself? Or is it a factory finisk?
The TLR looks pretty good, too actually.
Thanks!
Rob
Well the argus is missing it's leather. I guess you could call it factory, as that is how it would have looked before the leather went on. It was in horrible shape , with most of it missing when I recieved it. So I just removed the rest of it and left it at that.
The TLR is a digital mini 2.0 megapixel, fun to use and a great conversation piece.

The reason I asked, Robert, is that I've had a couple of Argii(?
) and the one that the leather was coming off of didn't look nearly that polished underneath! I think yours is calling out for some art deco style engraving!
I still have one C-3 but I don't use it very often--it was my grand father's and he took some amazing photos with it. Still working and I do use it very occasionally. The reason I don't use it more is, well, the smell of the inside of the bag and the camera itself strongly reminds me of him and some of the time we spent together and I don't want to air out that scent.

My Argus was also my granfathers, I have his argus 21 also, as well as a couple of 75's too. All in great working order. My argus c3 was an early production run and was cromed quite well.

Matt's camera porn shot is brilliant. Here is a very hefty camera with a very hefty coffee.
High,
I like your photo, the colors are quite good and fits perfect together.

I was bored today (stuck in the house this week unable to leave thanks to icy roads and steep hills). I spent a couple hours taking pictures, in VERY low light by the window with my little Canon SD700is digital P&S camera.
Attached is the original file. I removed all but the red and yellow channels I think (blue, cyan, magenta, green are all removed). re-curved it. Vignette because I like vignetting. rotated. Came up a version I liked better.
Photoshop is a great substitute for real talent!

yeah, I liked the first one best too. The second one i posted is the original file, before I made the necessary edits to make it nice.
And I am glad the snow is finally thawing out. I was unable to leave the house for nearly a week.

Here's my Leica II with VIOOH-Finder and russian Jupiter 8 (maybe a sin, but image-quality is great and its inexpensive). Accompanied by a Starbucks Berlin Mug and my local Newspaper "Freies Wort" (roughly translated free word or freedom of speech).
