Hi, I'm new and this is my first post! Has anyone taken one of these lenses apart and documented it? Mine was dropped and now the focus ring is stuck. I hear it's pretty expensive to send to Canon for a repair and was thinking of attempting it myself. I've watched other lenses being stripped down on youtube and think I could do it myself. I've taken apart laptops, iPods, iPhones etc before so I'm ok with stripping stuff apart. Anyone here done it? Thanks.
