Well, just got back from the hospital with more bad news regarding my wife's health...I am really too tired to weigh in here. So this will be my one and only post on the matter. Take my viewpoint not as one who votes Democratic or Republican but as someone who views them all as liars, crooks and not worthy of our trust but they are a necessary evil, I suppose.
Digitalintrigue and remphoto have been arguing that the new Health Care law is bad. I agree. Seems that everyone who is arguing that it is good is not a citizen of this country yet the "facts" presented are more than the majority of citizens here have heard and whether they are true or not, I simply don't have the time or energy to research. Believe me, no one really knows what is in that new law or the unintended consequences that will result. And yes, there will be unintended consequences.
All I want to add to the dialogue is the fact that Obamacare is not health care reform. It is simply the left wing move toward socialistic govenment which is the antithesis of our government since its inception. Is it good or bad? Depends on who you ask, but the figures clearly show that the majority of Americans believe it is bad law and that it has the potention of bringing our economy down. I tpersonally hink it is bad and I have watched this past year at how Obama and the Democratic party have started dismantling this country brick by brick and spent, what, multiples of trillions of dollars in one year, far more than anyone before now. The numbers I have seen are staggering.
Americans, for the most part, have always wanted maximum freedom and security with minimum government intrusion. Our government has a terrible track record on public programs. Now, this new law flies in the face of basic conservative Americans.
While Obama has focused entirely on this health care issue, he has done NOTHING about the rampant unemployment situation or anything else in our economy. The unemployment figures where I live are officially 11%, but when you analyze what is left out, the figure is double that! NOTHING this administration has done or IS doing has addressed the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. Why the hell bent effort on health care this past year? It could have waited awhile...at least until our recovery was well underway.😡 My guess is, it has to do with politics and paybacks.
Few people really know how vulnerable we are at this point in time.
That's it. I am spent. But, have a wonderful time with all the diatribe. My attention will be elsewhere for the forseeable future.🙁
