I had been researching what 35mm lens to get for my 5D as I was finding 50 to be a bit too limiting and wanted a little less distortion than my Zuiko 24 was generating.
Certainly I found a ton of recommendation for the 35L. But there's something about Canon lens color that I was second guessing, so started checking out older 35s from other brands.
Ended up on some threads in other forums about the Zeiss 1.4 in C/Y mount. Seems sort of like a Summilux equivalent in terms of look (obviously not in terms of size... 😉
Anyways, found a slightly beat up one as they go for a pretty penny when in mint condition. Will start shooting with it next week...
