Did you get into photography because you liked photos or cameras?

The reason I bought my first camera was, that my parents aren't in photography themselves. They do admire a good image, but they didn't take much.
At some point I felt disappointed of not having that much pictures from my childhood and that made me think "do it yourself".

Now I collect, too. 😉
