I'm a big Route 66 fan, with it's historic diners, drive-ins and dives you encounter on your way from Chicago to LA on the Mother Road.

Damn, I miss the Bobcat Bite! It's not the same at all now that the place closed and the business moved to Santa Fe, just off the plaza. Ugh.
I saw you posted a Blake's Lotaburger as well. Miss that even too!

Magic Wand Restaurant in the small town of Churubusco, Indiana. My son and I go eat here often. The whole place is decorated with clowns, and has been as long as I can remember. My parents used to take me there when I was a kid, and its just like it was back then.

Coney Island Hot Dogs on Main Street in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. Founded in 1914, it is Fort Wayne's oldest restaurant. It still operates in the same building it has been in since the beginning 103 years ago.

The Roadrunner's Retreat is even lonelier at night!

Was out there at 6AM on a Sunday morning in July. Was absolute quiet. Nobody for miles. Then I heard a big animal behind one of the abandoned buildings. Didn't stick around to see what it was.

Would have loved to see the place in it's heyday.

Best,
-Tim
