Do you know camera quest?

Can't go wrong with Camera Quest. Stephen is a real nice guy and accomodating. Ordered some stuff from them and very good service and fast shipping.

No problem at all. Better prices can be found in Hongkong though but i favour the security provided by Cameraquest personally.
 
I've ordered many times from Stephen. Never a problem. I mistakenly ordered too many back caps for M lenses and he just credited my account, no worries whatsoever.
 
I've bought from Stephen for over seven years, with nothing but excellent service and honesty! Its a lot of fun to TRY and negotiate prices with him-Not that he will change them!
 
Never bought anything from Cameraquest. I'm sure his prices and service are great, but due to the incredibly messy layout of the site, I have just had a quick glance.
Imo the site could use a makeover :)
 
I've ordered many items over the years from Stephen and have found him very good to work with and totally satisfied with my purchases.
 
As messy as the website is, it has an amazing amount of information, including size comparison photos of the CV lenses, both current and discontinued. Also it includes detailed images of accessories. I'll take too much information, messy or not, over not enough.
 
I have purchased new body, new lens, new side grip, softie button, and case - no troubles at all, ( and I like his site for the wealth of INFO) - (no cart system... oh well.)
 
+1 for the equipment and the service. Whenever I'm buying new I check here first, in part also because of the great service he has done all of us with the information he shares on the site -- classic camera profiles. I even check to see if he has the equipment I want used.
 
I haven't purchased from him, but I actually like his web site because there is so much valuable information buried in there. I've learned a lot from the information he has collected.

But I agree it would probably be better for the world if he put together a professional site. Hey Steve! Let me know if you need help with it.

I stumbled across his site long ago, might have been ten years. The lay-out looked old fashioned then, imagine how it looks now, as it hasn't changed at all :D

I agree that a simple cart system would work wonders for the uninitiated. I presume he is in this business to make money. If you make it easier for people to give you money, more people will do just that. It can't be that hard to invest a liitle bit of time and money to get the site up-to-date.

It takes some getting used to at first, but buying stuff is really easy with a paypal account. Type in the price, say what you want in the message area, hit send. Bingo. If there is a problem (or something else you'll probably want!), Stephen will let you know.
