DPReview is closing down

The DPReview forum structure is from the 90s. Custom code, hard to maintain, and difficult to migrate to open source code.

Yes I have not seen similar wording on other sites. I have zero desire to take part in their forums, but hope that Gear Patrol (never heard of them before) does a better job of moderation than the previous regime.

Will they be able to continue with the same high standards with regards to reviews and other specs/data is the question for me...

Never used the DPR forums. Glad they are back, but my home is here since 2006.

Hence why it should be relatively easy to do better this time around. 😆
