I really like the look/feel of these. Seem very film-like to me. Can you give us (or me via PM) any tips on your PP

Great looking shots. I can't believe these cameras are so cheap now!

There's something about the shot of the truck on the cliff...really like it.

I'd also be interested in your PP!

thanks. I think what you guys are referring to is the light shadows in some of the images.. Yes, I purposely did that.. you can achieve it in any curves adjustment tool. I also use Alien Skin Exposure religiously.. I feel it gives more pleasing brightness/contrast adjustment.

most images shot in JPEG, P-mode with auto WB.. no raw used on the EPL1.. being such a great JPEG camera.

There were actually quite a few times where the size of the EPL1 felt prohibitive... I used my smart phone quite a bit.. but do want to pick up a P&S for future.

Those are very nice shots...

Great shots... looks like a nice trip...

I have come to the conclusion that the E-PL1 is the digital camera I have been long searching for.

I don't know about you, but I really don't post process the images from my E-PL1.

The capabilities within the camera itself, if put to full use, and the weaker AA filter introduced in this model have allowed me to eschew RAW altogether (NO RAW-YAY!) and the great advances in Olympus' JPEG processing engine, allow the use of JPEG exclusively for my needs.

If I can't get it right in the E-PL1 when I look at it on the computer, it goes in the recycle bin. I've said it before, and will again, I adamantly detest Post Processing, and the E-PL1 has me almost free of it. Learn the camera.

It looks like you have done that.

I am piling my pennies up for the EM5. Although I am hearing that all the advances in the EM5 will show up in a camera more like the PEN in a few months for less money.

In the meantime, The E-PL1 will more than suffice. Any lenses I add will work on successors to the EM5 or PEN.

Thanks for the shots.

Prior the EPL1, I've owned EP-1, GF1, and GH1(currently still own it).. Have always loved the images from the EP1, but lack of certain features made me upgrade to GF1..

Never really quite replicated the feel of the EP1's iamges until I got the EPL1.. I appreciate the built-in flash and the smaller size. The images are great out of the camera. I only do some contrast adjustment and sometimes I add a warming layer..

Super photos - those that include a figure are the best as far as I am concerned - they add the personal and human touch.

Where did you get the body new for $100 ? I think Amazon has them for $160 - which is still a great price ...
