EUROMEET 2013, Prague, 18-19 May

I'm also back home (arrived yesterday evening). And I would like to thank everybody for a truly inspiring weekend. I had a wonderful time, but now I've got some developing to do... :D

Where did we have such an expensive beer? :D

Ok, back home .. and the others no doubt are still having fun :). I redraw my words about Czech beer: I didn't drink many different kinds, but the beer I drank was fine (no headache in the morning) and 40 Kc for half a liter is hard to beat (impossible to beat in Belgium).

Thanks for a great time guys ! As the French say: "les absent avaient tort".

Stefan (while I'm online with my PC, I'm going to check the classifieds again :))

What a nice weekend, I enjoyed Prague very much. Thanks to our friendly hosts who showed us their city, the not so touristic spots, nice food and of course the way to the good czech beer :) Thanks of course to Martin for the organization here on rff and to all the others for making it a nice weekend.

Lot's of film cameras this year and only one film Leica.

Now I have to develop four rolls of film, that will take some time at my normal developing pace.

I have just got back home in NL, on Wednesday morning.

Thank you to everybody for all the very interesting trips around Prague.

Before leaving yesterday I did get to BeFoto to collect the Fomalux - thanks Martin!

Now to think of clothes-washing and film developing . . .

EDIT: Our young Chinese acquaintance sent a note thanking you all for your hospitality and interesting chat, not to mention the table full of cameras :)

For the benefit of those wanting to upload digital photographs I have made a Flickr group, similar to what we have had for previous years. The film users amongst us might take a while to develop their and edit results!

The name is "RFF Euro Meet 2013, Prague" and it is open to posts already. There have been Flickr changes over the last week, but these should not affect group posts (unless I've missed something, in which case please let me know, thanks).

Cant find the group Martin.

Ahh, yes - I somehow missed adding the link to the Flickr group name in my post above, but Pavel rescued us.

The group-name search is on the usual Flickr search-menu, but requires an extra click or two.

Developed 2 of 4 films already, maybe on the weekend I can begin to upload some photos. So far I'm happy with what my old Hexar AF did :)

Come on guys. I'm real slow when it's about film developing and now I'm the first who posted some photos :) Or did the new flickr discouraged you?

Uhhh? What - you mean we were supposed to put film in our film-cameras??!! Do they still make that anymore?
;)

Congratulations on your speed and efficiency Tom, as well as the interesting results! Probably the digital users are just more shy than you :)

I will process and contact all eighteen of my rolls before making a selection of a dozen or so for the group. It is at times like this that I wonder about making a heated film-drier, but it is so rarely needed that I'll stick with my air-powered version.

The Flickr group is here, in case anyone else remembered to load their cameras before use.

I'll do it like Martin: first develop all of my rolls, then scan them, and finally make a small selection for the upload. So far, I've developed 8 out of 12 rolls and scanned 3 of those. Now I'll be off to improve on these statistics...
