EUROMEET 2013, Prague, 18-19 May

Drawing with bank card from any bank cash mashine is fine. But not from the cash mashine of an ondependent financial company.

Thanks, but I was asking specifically about V-Pay as opposed to Maestro. My Bank exchanged my ATM card a few years ago, and I've had trouble drawing money abroad, as a lot ATMs seem to accept only Maestro, which was the standard for a long time...

Visa is here no.1.. Ceska sporitelna and Komercni banka are preparing for V-pay, so you have best chance with them.

FOMA is available with usual suspects:

www.fotomaterial.cz
www.fotoskoda.cz
www.befoto.cz

Be foto has the best prices but you have to ask about the stock. Fotomaterial and FotoSkoda should have stock. They are within the walking distance. I have FotoSkoda customer card for 8% discount I think, I can of course borrow it to you.
Be foto is in my neighbourhood and I know the owner. Actual prices should be better then the one at www.

Ok, so I'll look on Friday but will wait for you (and your card:)) before buying).

Thanks,
Stefan

Well, honestly speaking I dont like Foma films at all.
I would recommend Ilford PAN, in my opinion best BW film for the price:

And I do believe that it is just HP5 in another box.
Fomapan costs the same or even more!

For 35mm and MF I use Ilford and Arista 100 and 400 premium.

For LF (4x5) and up, I like Foma very much, esp. 100 and 200.

Is that bottle of Yamazaki Jon?

Hi Petr, its a bottle of plum wine, called "umeshu", from Ehime Prefecture. Smooth, sweet, and easy to drink. Yamazaki would definitely be preferable though, but my doc said I gotta watch the hard stuff like whisky.

Interesting. But the fact that they offer only Iso 100 and 400 leads me to believe that these are the Kentmere films. If so, it's definitely not HP5... but it is my favorite 400 film these days...

The color is really tasty. Docs never understand what is good...

Ok, back home .. and the others no doubt are still having fun :). I redraw my words about Czech beer: I didn't drink many different kinds, but the beer I drank was fine (no headache in the morning) and 40 Kc for half a liter is hard to beat (impossible to beat in Belgium).

Thanks for a great time guys ! As the French say: "les absents avaient tort".

Stefan (while I'm online with my PC, I'm going to check the classifieds again :))
