I'll be curious to see how the rendering and sharpness differs between this new CV 35/1.4 and the ZM 35/2. I had been thinking of eventually getting the ZM 35/2, but now I'll take a keen interest in the subsequent reviews. I have both the CV 40/1.4 (SC) and the ZM 50/2, but lately I think I've become a bit more fond of the 50 over the 40. Then again, I've got big hands and the 50 is admittedly a bit easier for me to handle. We'll see....varjag said:Mr. K. indeed hit a sweet spot here. There weren't much of fast, modern, affordable 35mm lenses to begin with, and M8 only amplified this need. At such price point, it will likely undermine sales of ZM 35/2, and maybe to lesser extent of new 35mm Summarits.
