Please don't go.
For those of us who were fond of Huss and ko.fe. it would be nice if Stephen shared with us why he felt the need to ban them.
Best,
-Tim
Frank used an old ID registered years ago to place classified ads. He was not allowed to register again, as Helen thought. She could have asked how he placed an ad, or checked herself.
Huss and Ko.Fe are on temporary bans which will expire.
Oh the drama. Get your Popcorn and Peanuts!

Thanks for that information Stephen. I still find it confusing.
Could you share with us what behavior warrants a temporary ban?

No matter what is being said, explained, discussed, claimed, .... we have the choice to visit some websites or stay away from them.
I am sorry to see Helen not post here anymore. Not only is her work first class, but we have few women members posting at RFF.
Ciao Helen.

It is always sad when a member leaves especially one as revered as Helen. Take care Helen, we will all miss your inciteful comments and wonderful photographs.

Thanks for the explanation, Stephen. That helps. I just re-read the FAQs. It’s a miracle I’m not banned. .)

Here are the Golden Rules:
The Golden Rules of RFF
Rule No. 1 - No "Flaming"
1) You will not post any messages to the forum or send by PM (private messages) that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest.
Rule No. 2 - No "Trolling"
2) You will not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of this forum. Don't create meaningless threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This includes messages in profiles, avatars, and signatures. You will not promote, belabor, or condemn any political or religious ideology during forum discussion. You will not argue your point over and over again. RFF is about discussion, not about arguing.
Rule No. 3 - No "Spamming"
3) You will not double post or cross-post the same message in multiple forums. You will not mass-PM or mass-email multiple members of this site the same message. You will not post for the sake of increasing your post count or hack count.
Rule No. 4 - No "Offensive" Posts, Links or Images
4) You will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or otherwise violative of any local or international laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars. Staff will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not.
Rule No. 5 - No Self-Promotion
5) Members will not post any messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, forums, email address, business, MLM, activity, or other entities that you have an affiliation with (ie. no self-promotion). Additionally Self-Promotion links will no longer be allowed in your signature. This is intended for commercial establishments that try to advertise on RFF without going through the proper process. Promoting a website or product that you are in some way involved with, without divulging that involvement, is sufficient reason to be banned. This does not apply to sponsors, who have paid for advertising in order to promote themselves on RFF. Nor does it apply to linking to your own site showing or selling your own photos.
Rule No. 6 - No Public Posting of Copyright Material
6) You will not upload, attach or post any material you are not the creator and/or copyright holder of. It is however acceptable to post links to publically accessible material.
Rule No. 7 - Be NICE to one another!
RFF has a worldwide membership coming from many different backgrounds, offering an unlimited number of viewpoints. Treat each other with civility and respect. Rude remarks, and worse, have no place here.
What happens if I break a rule?
If you get a PM (private message) from an administrator or moderator, please give it careful consideration. The administrators and moderators of RFF have the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread, post or posted image. Administrators and moderators may modify or end (ban) membership privileges at any time, for any breach of the rules or for any other reason with or without warning or notice. If a member is banned, it is generally without public announcement or acknowledgment.
What if I see a message posted that breaks a rule?
Please report these posts or threads to the administrator or moderator of the forum by clicking on the "Report" link at the bottom of the offending post or thread, and the post or thread will be reviewed and action taken as soon as possible.
What is my responsibility as a member?
Please keep these rules in mind when you post. The administrators and/or moderators have the right to change these rules at any time without notice. It is the responsibility of every member to remain updated with the current rules.
Why have rules in the first place?
The rules are there for the protection of the community as a whole and to prevent abuse, conflict and disharmony within the forums.

The RFF member known as Bart Bart has now been banned I think as I can see any of his posts in the thread below. This is the thread that Helen refers to. As far as Huss and ko.Fe. I am not sure what has happened.

That’s really sad about Helen and Huss... And if that’s because of his Pixii comments then I am completely lost...
I just read that thread as to get a clue as to what the heck is going on. I did not find his comments at all objectionable and given the replies from a certain person, I can see exactly why Helen is just over it.
I wish her better days, she has not had a good year for reasons that are personal to her and this does not help.

Ko.Fe. and Huss are just suspended (perhaps caught taking pictures of all the kids not wearing their masks when moving between classes), they will be back on line soon (I'm not a mod any longer so I don't know).
The other member who goes by many different names (from spencerport, NY) is gone until he finds another way in and the mods spot him.
