Heliar Classic 50/2 and Nokton 50/1.5

OP, since you have both, why don't you take a few comparison photos and then decide? Hard for us to decide which one you should keep ... you have them both, not us! 😀

I would sell both lenses and get instead a Canon 50mm/1.5 in very clean condition.

I'll second that. The Canon is a great lens. Had the Canon 50mm 1.4 and kept the 1.5.


Don't understand the issue with collapsing the lens. If it is so difficult why collapse it in the first place?

The Heliar in black is great on an M5. Can be collapsed safely.
