Hexar RF and 24mm

Here's a question for Hexar RF users out there with a 24mm (or 25mm) lens/viewfinder: there is quite a bit of space outside the 28mm framelines and I wonder if it approximates the 24mm FOV?

i just looked at the zi 25/28 viewfinder, which is bright and sharp as hell, and it looks like the hexar's entire viewfinder is a good match.

And mine, I have a 25mm coming up!
Besides, separate viewfinders always fall off of the top of the Hexar. The shoe has no retaining springs.
Ray, do you already have a 25 or are you planning to get one?

No, I don't, Rob. I am waiting for some user reports on the ZI 25mm biogon. One reason I asked the question, is that I would favor not having to use an accessory VF. The other is that the ZI VF's are quite expensive.

I've used the CV25/4 on the Hexar RF mostly without the additional viewfinder. The edge of the Hexar's finder gives a very good indication of the frame..

Exactly what Peter said. The whole finder of the Hexar is much easier to use than the accessory finder - all the straight lines help a lot.
